Our Cloudy Apple Cider Vinegar is made in Italy from old varieties of cider apple. The mother is the dark, cloudy substance in the Apple Cider Vinegar formed from naturally occurring pectin and apple residues - it appears as molecules of protein connected in strand-like chains and becomes visible when the brownish liquid is held to the light. The presence of the mother shows that the best part of the apple has not been destroyed.
Apple cider vinegar from shops labelled as 'filtered' (a clear liquid), will not contain the ‘mother’ due to over processing, filtration and overheating.
The apples are handpicked and once gathered, the pressing and fermenting process begins. It takes three years to make the vinegar, after which the liquid is ready to be bottled. Every single bottle to come from the farm is hand-poured, hand-labelled and individually quality checked. There are no nasty added ingredients. In each bottle is the goodness in its purest form, for you to enjoy.
How to use:
It can be diluted in water to make up as a drink, by mixing two tablespoons in a glass of cold or warm water. You may like to add a a squeeze of lemon.
